📱 How do I get started with Personal Curriculum?

After downloading the app, you'll be guided through a quick onboarding process. Simply create your first subject, add a learning resource, and mark it complete to see your first streak! The app is designed to be intuitive - you'll be learning within minutes.

🔄 Can I sync my data across multiple devices?

Currently, Personal Curriculum stores all data locally on your device for maximum privacy. We don't offer cloud sync. However, if you use your device's backup feature (iCloud Backup for iOS or Google Backup for Android), your data will be restored if you get a new device.

🔥 How do streaks work?

Your streak increases by 1 each day you complete at least one resource. If you miss a day, you get one free "streak freeze" per week that automatically protects your streak. Pro users can also recover a broken streak by completing 2 resources the next day.

⏱️ Does the timer work when I close the app?

Yes! The timer continues running even when you switch to other apps or lock your screen. When you return to the app, your timer will be right where you left it. This allows you to time your study sessions while using other learning resources.

✨ What's the difference between Free and Pro?

The free version includes unlimited curriculums with up to 3 subjects each, basic stats, and one share card template. Pro unlocks unlimited subjects per curriculum, all premium share card templates, weekly activity charts, timer analytics, and streak recovery features.

🔔 How do I manage notifications?

Go to the Settings tab in the app to customize your notifications. You can enable/disable daily reminders, set your preferred time, and toggle weekly recap notifications. You can also manage notification permissions in your device settings.

📊 Can I export my learning data?

You can export beautiful progress cards as images to share on social media. For your raw learning data, since everything is stored locally, you can preserve it using your device's backup system. We're considering adding data export features in future updates.

💳 How do I cancel my Pro subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). To cancel:
iOS: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Personal Curriculum → Cancel Subscription
Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Personal Curriculum → Cancel Subscription

🗑️ How do I delete my account/data?

Since Personal Curriculum doesn't require an account and stores data locally, simply uninstalling the app will remove all your data from your device. There's no account to delete. If you want to clear data without uninstalling, you can delete individual curriculums in the app.

🔗 Can I add any type of learning resource?

Absolutely! You can add YouTube videos, articles, podcasts, online courses, books, exercises - anything with a URL or just a title. The app supports links from any website. You can categorize resources as "Read," "Watch," or "Practice" to help organize your learning.
